September 23, 2001 - New Product Launch
Carver Pump introduced its new GV Series of vertical pumps.  Available in cantilevered (GVC), top pull-out (GVT) and wet pit sump (GVS) configurations, the GV's are designed for pumping water, chemicals, and oil in both general service and process industry applications.  Hydraulic performance extends to 2,500 GPM at 1,750 RPM and is covered by twenty-five sizes in cast iron, 316 stainless steel fitted, and all 316 SS construction, with higher alloy materials available.  For added simplicity, the entire series is based on the same product platform as our horizontal pumps and shares many of the same parts.

July 16, 2001 – New Stocking Distributor
Kirst Pump and Equipment, Inc., has been named our new stocking distributor for Southern California.  Based out of Huntington Park (Los Angeles), California, Kirst offers complete sales and service capabilities to supplement their extensive inventory of Carver pumps, kits, and parts, and are well positioned to serve the growing Carver customer  base in this region.


July 6, 2001 - New Stocking Distributor
Total Equipment Corporation has been named our new stocking distributor for western Pennsylvania, western Maryland, and West Virginia.  With sales offices in Coraopolis (Pittsburgh) and Dunbar (Charleston) West Virginia, Total offers complete sales, service, and repair capabilities to supplement their extensive inventory of Carver pumps and parts, and are well positioned to serve the growing Carver customer base in this region.


June 11, 2001 – New Stocking Distributor
Pacific Defense Systems (PDS), Inc., has been named our new stocking distributor for all marine and military-related applications throughout southern California, Hawaii, Japan, and South Pacific regions.  Based out of San Diego, PDS offers complete pump and part sales, and repair and overhaul capabilities for all Carver pumps. They are well-positioned to serve the growing Carver installation base in this key market for us.

April 9, 2001 - ISO 9001 Certification Renewed
Intertek Testing Services (ITS) of Boxborough, Massachusetts has announced that our recent quality program audit was a complete success, and we have met all the requirements of the stringent ANSI / ASQC Q9001:1994 specifications.  This was our second renewal of our quality system since we were were initially certified.

January 23, 2001 - New Product Launch
Carver Pump introduced its new RS Series ring section, multi-stage pump. Designed for a wide variety of moderate to high pressure applications, the RS offers expanded features, new sizes, and higher pressure ratings in an overall more cost effective design package. It will be available in ductile iron and CD4MCu and deliver flows to 1,500 GPM and pressures to 1,200 PSIG. This pump series, scheduled for release February 1, is currently the only pump of its type manufactured in the United States.
