13, 2005 - New Appointments
We’re happy to
announce the appointment of
Joe Marinelli
and
Gene Mata
as Regional Managers. Both will officially begin their new
careers with Carver on , spending a week at the Factory reviewing
Carver products and capabilities. Once completed, they will be
contacting each Distributorship in order to introduce themselves and
establish a travel schedule to meet them in person.
As the Eastern Regional Manager, Joe is responsible for overseeing
sales training, promotion and developing relationships with
Distributors and OEM’s in the region. With over 10 years of
experience in industrial equipment and pumps, Joe joins us from Sihi
Pumps Inc., where he was Sales Manager. His areas of
responsibility included overall responsibility for sales throughout
North and South America, with Distributor management for the
US
, Western Canada and
Caribbean
.
In
addition to the Eastern Region, Joe’s territory will include the
Canadian Provinces of
New Brunswick
,
Quebec
and
Ontario
. He will base out of his home in
Buffalo
,
NY
, where he lives with his wife and 2 daughters.
Gene’s responsibilities as Western Regional Manager will be the same
as in the East. Coming to Carver with 25+ years experience in
industrial/process equipment, the last 15 years being specifically in
pumps, Gene joins us from Sundyne Corp., where he was Area Sales
Manager covering Northern Latin America. In addition to his
position with Sundyne, Gene has spent time with Sundstrand Fluid
Handling as a Business Development Specialist, and A.R. Wilfley &
Sons as Latin American Sales Manager.
In
addition to the Western Region, Gene’s territory will include the
Canadian Provinces of
Manitoba
,
Saskatchewan
,
Alberta
and
British Columbia
. He will base out of his home in
Denver
,
CO
, where he lives with his wife and 2 daughters.
April 1, 2005 - New Appointment
Randy Siler
was promoted to Industrial Sales/Marketing Manager. Joining
Carver as the Central Regional Manager in 2004, covering primarily the
Midwest
, and later assuming additional regional responsibilities as the
Western Regional Manager, he will now assume all responsibilities for
Sales/Marketing related issues. Additionally, he’ll continue
to act as the Central Regional Manager until further notice.
In addition to the past 11 years with Carver, Randy had previously
worked with LaBour Pump Company in
Elkhart
,
IN
for over 15 years in several different capacities. Positions
there included Inside Sales, Regional Manager, National Sales Manager
and Aftermarket Manager, covering US, Canadian and South American
markets.
