A leading manufacturer of centrifugal pumps in Naval and Industrial markets has a Welding position available. Candidates will be required to read blueprints, then cut, prep and weld joint designs. We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill this position in a dynamic high mix/low volume, lean manufacturing environment.
The qualified candidate must have a diploma from a recognized welding training organization or equivalent work experience. The successful candidates must have at least one year experience in Mig welding plus exposure to Tig and Arc welding. Use of computers and Microsoft programs will be necessary. The ideal candidates will have excellent math skills, a strong work ethic, and effective communication skills. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Hourly wage starting at $27.50 and works up to $34.19 plus monthly bonus and annual profit sharing. Candidates must be available to work 2nd and 3rd shift following training on 1st shift.
