Thermal heat transfer fluids, also known as hot oils, are capable of withstanding extremely high temperatures. Hot oils can be used for either heating or cooling applications. In cooling applications, hot oils are utilized to transfer heat away from a process to maintain optimal operating temperature. In heating applications, hot oils have the opposite function. Some manufacturing processes require process heat to activate coatings or bonds. Regardless of the function of a thermal heat transfer system, thermal fluids are manufactured with system longevity in mind.
