Mine and landfill dewatering

High capacity end suction and vertical pumps for mining and waste management applications.

Dewatering is the process of removing any surface or groundwater encountered before and during mining or excavation operations. Without proper dewatering systems in place, the structural integrity of excavated pits is subject to failure. In open-pit mining applications, dewatering can ensure wall stability during active mining operations and long after operations have ceased. In landfill excavation applications, dewatering is critical to long-term landfill structure. Water removed during dewatering can be diverted to natural runoffs or transferred to manmade holding reservoirs.
